Before you start using VIVERSE for Business, you'll need to have an existing avatar. Visit the VIVERSE Avatar website to create your avatar.
Tip:
- You can save up to 15 avatars on your HTC account.
- If you don't have any avatars on your HTC account, you'll be prompted to create one when signing in to VIVERSE for Business on your headset for the first time.
The types of avatars you can create on the VIVERSE Avatar website include the following:
-
Stylized avatars: The latest rigged avatars that you can choose from with multiple levles of personalization. You can select from preset outfits or upload a 256 × 256 pixel repeating pattern to give clothing and accessories a custom texture.
-
Realistic avatar: Take a selfie or use an existing photo as your face model to create an avatar that resembles you. For details, see Creating realistic avatars.
-
Retro avatar: Create a virtual character as your avatar. Follow the onscreen instructions to customize the appearance of your avatar. A broader customization toolkit gives you control over proportions and personality. You can adjust height, facial structure, hairstyles, and outfit combinations to achieve a distinctive, old-school animated aesthetic.
-
VRM avatar: Virtual Reality Modeling (VRM) is a cross-platform 3D model file format and is commonly used for 3D avatars. You can import your existing VRM avatars to your HTC account and use them in VIVERSE in Business. Custom VRM files retain whatever styling has already been applied in the creation app. Import them seamlessly to ensure your established persona continues across VIVERSE Worlds.
